Meet D. Castillo
Your Retreat Host
The Horseshoe Bend Retreat was founded in 2018 by Texas native, retreat facilitator D. Castillo & her partner.
She wanted to create a place to enjoy Texas nature and build lasting memories. She envisioned and brought to life a haven where people can come together, while keeping the haven private and secluded for many years to come.
With unwavering dedication, she transformed her dream into reality, establishing a retreat that offers a sanctuary from the chaos of city life.
So, what does a day look like
at Horseshoe Bend Retreat?
A day at our Wellness Retreat can include small group activities, morning and evening meditation, group meals, guided nature walks, yoga on the sand bar, reflective journaling, resolution yoga, hiking, healthy wellness recipes, mindfulness, horticulture workshops, digital detox, daily gratitude, wind down activities in the evenings before yoga/meditation, evening kayak bonfires, primitive tent camping, S.U.P. Boarding, river floats, kayaking, and painting.
